Policy

On Oct. 6, 2009 an election was held to gain voter approval to increase the Southland ISD tax rate from $1.04 to $1.17.

The vote was 37 in favor and 5 against.

The election was canvassed by the School Board on Oct. 15, 2009 and documented accordingly

Therefore, the tax rate for Southland ISD will be $1.17 for the 2009-2010 school year.
