Welcome to the NHS/NJHS web page!  The NHS/NJHS is the leader among organizations and societies that promote appropriate recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership and service.  Students involved in NHS/NJHS are successful in their academic and life pursuits, and particularly in post-secondary studies.  Southland strives to recognize these students and is currently building a strong chapter with students involved in community service and leadership. 

Projects

NHS/NJHS will resume community service projects at the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year.  Until then, members may continue to obtain service hours over the summer.  Fill out the service hour slip and return it to Mrs. Hamitlon at the school.
