Special Education Aide
– must have high school diploma
– must have the ability to meet a formal academic assessment as required by the state of Texas
– Texas Paraprofessional Certification preferred and/or experience teaching children in a learning environment
– must pass a background check
– must have:
– the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and math
– the ability to work well with children
– the ability to communicate effectively
– the ability to maintain confidential documentation
– the ability to use technology effectively

Computer Technician
– must have a high school diploma
– must have the ability to meet a formal academic assessment as required by the state of Texas
– 1 year of work experience preferred: installing, maintaining, and repairing computers and peripherals
– Duties will include:
– technical work to install and maintain computer equipment
– network and software applications throughout the district
– respond to work order requests by diagnosing and repairing network and computer hardware
– Special knowledge and skills include:
– physical ability to perform job-related tasks requiring manual labor or physical skill
– knowledge of computer hardware and various software applications
– knowledge of computer workstation setup
– ability to install, maintain, and repair comptuers and peripherals
– ability to install and maintain network cables and hardware
– ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs
