VIRTUAL INSTRUCTION CHANGE
Beginning January 6, 2021, students who are absent will no longer be allowed to check in as a “remote asynchronous” learner. The student will be counted absent and will need to bring a note explaining the absence on their next day present on campus. This is the same attendance policy we have followed in past years, before the COVID-19 modifications.
Students who are full-time virtual or quarantined per the Texas Department of Health Services will continue to check in online as we have done in the Fall 2020 semester. A student may only be a full-time virtual student by requesting that status from the school principal no less than 3 school days prior to the beginning of a six-weeks grading period.
Students are responsible for any work missed due to an absence and may still do that online during their absence.
